Joey Kukura is an Austin based musician. After receiving a bachelors degree in Jazz Studies on guitar from the University of North Texas, he branched out into the larger Texas country music scene. He is currently playing lead guitar for touring country music artist Kat Hasty. Previously he toured as lead guitarist with Jesse Daniel for 2 years and can be heard on his upcoming fifth studio album “Son of the San Lorenzo” on both electric guitar and mandolin. He has worked with other prominent country music artists such as Summer Dean, Holly Tucker, Benjamin Tod, and others. When not on the road, Joey enjoys doing session work, writing original music, practicing other instruments and creating educational material.
